Safety is a very important priority to our business, aligned to our Value: “we genuinely care”. There are a number of safety initiatives we have in place, aligned to the philosophy of “my brother’s keeper” and embedding safety into our business culture as “the way we do business”.
We have a trained “Safety Officer” at each of our sites, who works closely with the Manager and team as the “safety champion”. We conduct monthly site safety audits, provide on-line safety training across the business, provide frequent bulletins on an important safety topic and regularly review our safety practices.
Safety is always the first agenda item discussed at our monthly Leadership Team Meetings. Where we discuss how we are performing in alignment with our “Safety Balanced Scorecard”. Our ultimate goal is “zero harm” which we will continue to work hard towards.
